Description

Join the members of Whitby & District Astronomical Society for this special event observing the lunar eclipse. See the blood moon rising over beautiful scenery of the harbour and East cliff just adjacent to the Captain Cook statue. Also observe Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and also the planet Mars which reaches "opposition" this evening -- the very best time to observe the planet.
