Newcastle Astronomical Society Meeting

Thursday 15th February 2018 from 19:00pm to 21:00pm

Summerhill Bowling Club

Winchester Terrace, Newcastle, NE4 6EH

Everyone is invited to join the welcoming members of Newcastle Astronomical Society for this one of their monthly meetings to include stargazing and observing through telescopes should weather permit. Although the location itself is near to the heart of Newcastle city centre it is still readily possible to view the moon, planets and brighter deep-sky objects through telescopes despite local light pollution.

- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting

- Event run by a local astronomical society often involving an in-depth presentation by a guest speaker often with observing afterwards if weather permits. Most societies welcome members of the public to join them sometimes for a small fee or donation.
