Location description

This remote but accessible car park is used to access the nearby King Alfred's tower, a striking 49m tall folly (great for star trails perhaps!?).  The location has been recommended for stargazing by Cranbourne Chase AONB who are applying for the region to become a Dark Sky Reserve.
