Home of Breckland Astronomical Society and listed as a Dark Sky Discovery Site, this observatory houses a large 20" aperture telescope and an enthusiastic group of amateur astronomers. Members of the public are welcome to join them for meetings and observing sessions by prior arrangement.

Designated as a Dark Sky Discovery Site this location is accessible by members of the public and are officially recognised as excellent places to stargaze. Such locations often have free overnight car parking, some have toilet facilities however rarely allow overnight camping.
