The annual Astronomy Festival held at Herstmonceux Observatory is a unique opportunity for members of the public to camp out under the dark skies next to the telescope domes. A whole weekend of astronomical activities is scheduled including talks and presentations, planetarium shows, solar observing, various stands and vendors and of course observing through telescopes. Suitable for families. Book quick as these events always sell out quickly.
