High Cam Road, Bainbridge, DL8 3EL
Join experienced astronomers Richard Darn and Dave Williams for this beginners introduction to Astronomy. The venue is the wonderfully dark village location of Bainbridge, set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and away from light pollution. The event coincides with the peak of the Geminid meteor shower which is arguably the best shooting star shower of the year! This will be a fantastic evening out with the event including (weather permitting) a star party on the village green, a guided tour of the heavens, observing through telescopes and hopefully lots of meteors! Booking required.
- Event includes an astronomy related presentation or talk.
- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting
