Bury Road, Whepstead, IP29 4TA
Join the members of Athenaeum Astronomy Association for this one of their regular fortnightly meetings at Whepstead Community Centre which, as of April 2020, take place every other Wednesday. When weather permits the evening will be spent observing with telescopes, binoculars and the naked eye! If the weather does not allow for stargazing members and guest speakers give a range of astronomical talks. If you are going along for the first time please contact the event organisers in advance. Guests are welcome to visit on two events before being asked to join as members themselves.
- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting
- Event run by a local astronomical society often involving an in-depth presentation by a guest speaker often with observing afterwards if weather permits. Most societies welcome members of the public to join them sometimes for a small fee or donation.
This event is being organised by Athenaeum Astronomy Association who should be contacted if you have any queries. We highly recommend you confirm this event is indeed going ahead before travelling. If you do attend it would be fantastic if you could let the organiser know you found them via Go Stargazing!
Please contact Athenaeum Astronomy Association directly for more details regarding this event or, if appropriate, contact the event venue.
